Musee d'Orsay, Luxembourg Gardens & Seine River Cruise
If you have been following along, you know that I made a deal with Nola. Crepes in exchange for a sunrise shoot in front of the Eiffel Tower. I made good on my word and let her fill up at a local cafe before a big day in the city.
We walked past the Eiffel Tower on our way to the Musee d'Orsay.
If wasn't the fastest way to get there, but certainly more enjoyable than a taxi or train ride.
We walked under bridges and along the river...
before arriving at the museum. We enjoyed watching the street performers before tackling Renoir, Monet and Degas.
From the museum, we headed to Luxembourg Gardens.
Nola used the rest of her birthday money to rent a boat for the lake. She chose the "NO" boat and spent the next hour pushing it around the lake with a long stick.
We ended the day with a dinner cruise on the Seine. This was a bucket list item for me and it didn't disappoint.
When asked about her favorite memories of the trip, she had several --
The pigeons at Notre Dame *Hot chocolate at Angelinas* Picnic in front of the Eiffel Tower * Dinner Cruise *Rose flavored Berthillion ice cream *The Mona Lisa *City Scavenger Hunt *Silly nights at the hotel *Matching manicures *Speaking French *Crepes with Nutella
