The Louvre, Saint Chapelle and Notre Dame
We headed to The Louvre on a scavenger hunt with our girl.
Nola found the Mona Lisa and thought she was magnificent. She loved several other pieces as well but her overall impression was that there was an awful lot of "private parts" on display.
Staying with our two hour rule, we left The Louvre and headed to the Palais Royal.
It is a beautiful place to rest and people watch.
It's also a great place to column hop...if you're into that sort of thing. :)
From there, we made our way to Saint Chapelle. Nola loved looking at the stories from the bible depicted in stained glass and stood in front of the altar that is believed to once hold the crown of thorns. Nola worked hard with her camera -- capturing the beautiful colors of the stained glass.

Notre Dame! This was Nola's favorite part of the trip. She loved the church....
but mostly the pigeons that call it home.
I am not sure I have ever seen her so happy. She laughed until she cried and begged us to bring her back the following day.
Dennis and I couldn't hide our enjoyment.
Even when things got a little hairy.
After we dipped Nola in hand sanitizer, we headed to the lle Saint Louis. We watched the street artists.
Nola enjoyed a small snack....MACROONS.
We ended the day with a trip to Shakespeare and Company -- the most famous bookstore in Paris.
Nola found a few treasures for the plane ride home.
