London has the easiest subway system in the world! It took just one day to feel comfortable with it and it came in so very handy when exploring the city.
On this particular day, we hitched a ride to Kensington Palace.
Several members of the Royal Family live in the "apartments." My interest in a visit was for the museum.
I specifically wanted to see the Princess Diana exhibit.
It was moving to say the least. Outside of the palace, in the gardens, another special exhibit was being held.
The "White Garden" was in bloom to commemorate the 20th anniversary of her passing.
It was peaceful and quiet -- a charming memorial.
We ended with tea on the palace grounds. It was nice -- but nothing compared to The Wolsely.
