Our squishy little man turned two!!! And, as you can imagine, we were thrilled that he was HOME to celebrate this year! The troops arrived at noon for a little BBQ (special thank you to Big Hoffas for catering the event) and cake! Out of all of the designs I have envisioned over the years..this was one of my favorites! Raspberry, cream cheese delightfulness!
Looking ever so handsome in his silks, I tried to get a picture of my Man Cub with his cake. Within 3 seconds he pushed his foot into the icing and when everyone laughed, he froze. He was a little self-conscious from that point on.
I called in the muscles to make him laugh! Daddy gave it his best shot and was able to coax a hint of a smile from Mr. Serious.
It doesn't matter. All smiles or looking serious, he is still the most handsome thing ever!
My chubby cubby. The perfect addition to our growing family.
Making up for lost time, we decided that a smash cake was in order.
He loved the taste but with every giggle from the crowd he froze to look around. Unlike the older Trusty children, being in the spotlight is not Bear's thing!
The sensation of the icing on his hand was puzzling and he wasn't sure what to make of it!
But he soldiered on, eating an impressive amount of the sweet treat!
Oh, Bear! You are loved beyond measure.
Happy Birthday, Son!
