Isn't it funny how you can live in the same state your whole life and stumble upon treasures that you never knew existed?
My cousin Cassie has recently made her home in southern Indiana. While visiting, we made a stop at a great little ice cream parlor/soda shop called Zaharakos. Check it out here: http://www.zaharakos.com. It was beautiful and the children really enjoyed the soda shop museum located next door. OK, they enjoyed it, but not as much as the ice cream! We stayed for lunch...
and took in the sights and sounds of the season.
Afterward, Buscia invited us to a great indoor playscape. All was going well until Jack got stuck in the top area of the climbing platforms.
Just as I started to slip off my boots, a kind child offered to help him out of the maze. It turns out the exit was located right by the sign that said, "This structure is intended for children 5-12 years old." Ummm.... point taken.
We spent the rest of our time playing in the "baby section." It was a little more our speed!
Looking forward to another visit and discovering other great treasures in Southern Indiana.
